About Us

Willow Veterinary Physiotherapy is run by Veterinary Physiotherapist Rebecca Flecknor - BSc (Hons) VPhys.

Rebecca graduated from the Royal Agricultural University of Cirencester (RAU) in 2021, with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy, where she received first class honours. Rebecca is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and the Animal Health Professions Register (AHPR).

Rebecca attended university later in life, after spending most of her twenties working in riding schools as an instructor. Despite enjoying teaching, Rebecca had a deeper passion of wanting to help animals further. Her path became clear when her loan pony struggled with long term lameness, who was finally treated and rehabilitated by a veterinary physiotherapist. She then sought out veterinary physiotherapy bachelors degrees and applied for one at the RAU. Throughout her three years of intensive study, Rebecca has found a particular interest in both canine and equine rehabilitation and is currently working on a research project on the rehabilitative effects of long reining horses.

Willow Veterinary Physiotherapy gets its name from Rebecca’s cat Willow, who Rebecca had for 16 years.
